Bistro 1855, in collaboration with Beam Suntory, is hosting a Bowmore whisky dinner that will see the official launch of the Bowmore The Devil’s Casks III on 27 January 2016 from 7.30pm.
If you’re not familiar with Bowmore’s The Devil’s Casks, the first two of the three-part series of 10-year old whiskies were launched to near critical acclaim for its bold sherried flavours, courtesy of the use of dry Oloroso casks and sweet Pedro Ximénez (PX) casks.
During the course of the dinner, brand ambassador for Beam Suntory Jamey Merkel will guide diners in food-and-whisky pairing (menu below). Also of note at the dinner will be the Bowmore 23 Years Old Port Matured 1989.
But Bowmore’s The Devil Casks III will no doubt remain as the hero product during the dinner. As far as we know the allocation of this small batch whisky for Singapore is extremely limited – and much of it is already pre-booked – so this dinner may the only chance for you to buy a bottle or even get a taste.
