Ding Dong x Vivent Les Vins Libres! natural wine dinner
April 13 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm$118
Held in conjunction with Vivent Les Vins Libres Singapore 2019, fusion Asian restaurant Ding Dong will be hosting “Ding Dong x Vivent Les Vins Libres!”, a wine dinner on Saturday 13 April 2019 featuring natural wines from Camin Larredya and Château du Cèdre.
Camin Larredya is based out of a remarkable 9-hectare vineyard in the Chapelle de Rousse area of Jurançon in France. They began estate bottling in 1988 and has farmed organically since 2007, with the first certified vintage in 2010. They make single estate wines from lesser known French varietals such as Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng and Petit Courbu.
Château du Cèdre, regarded widely as Cahor’s leading estate, is the domaine of brothers Pascal and Jean Marc Verhaeghe. Based in the village of Vire-Sur-Lot, their estate covers 27 hectares of vines certified organic with no chemicals used since 1992. Here’s where you can find their expressions of the iconic Malbec-based “black wine of Cahors”, but with an organic touch.
For this five-course wine dinner, Jean-Marc Grussaute of Camin Larredya and Pascal Varhaeghe of Château du Cèdre will be on hand to share about their organically farmed wines that will be paired with Ding Dong’s four-course dinner specialties by Chef Miller Mai.
This Ding Dong x Vivent Les Vins Libres! wine dinner costs $118++ per person. There are two seatings, one at 6.30pm and another at 8.30pm. To book a spot, call 6557 0189 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
