A Grand Cru Champagne Tasting with Antoine Paillard

Modern Chinese gastrobar Jiu Zhuang will be hosting Antoine Paillard, the 8th generation descendant of the family-owned Champagne Pierre Paillard, for a grand cru tasting on 14 March 2016 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Located in Bouzy within the Montagne de Reims subregion of Champagne, the Pierre Paillard vineyards – which the Paillard family has owned and worked for nearly 250 years – upon which the are spread over 11 hectares (28 acres) on the area’s prestigious terroir. They are composed of 30 Grand Cru plots, averaging 30 years of age, 60% with Pinot Noir and 40% with Chardonnay, depending on the soil and the exposure to the sun.
Get up close and personal with Antoine Paillard, along with free flow tasting of the Brut NV, Brut Rose NV, Brut Blanc de Blancs 2009, Brut Millesime 2004. Promotional prices for bottles of the champagnes will also be available during this evening.
