Robert Parker Wine Advocate and MICHELIN guide present International Chef Showcase: Dirk Hoberg, Ophelia

Robert Parker Wine Advocate and MICHELIN guide will be presenting a gastronomy experience from Wednesday 22 February to Saturday 25 February 2017 by hosting Dirk Hoberg of Konstanz, Germany-based two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Ophelia for a wine-pairing lunch and dinners at Monti during that period.
Known for his flair for marrying Lake Constance produce and exquisite ingredients from around the world, Chef Hoberg will partner Monti’s Chef Luigi Calcagno to present a four-course lunch menu and an extended eight-course dinner menu that feature classic dishes with modern interpretations.
35-year-old Dirk Hoberg has transformed Restaurant Ophelia into a culinary hotspot since taking the reins in 2009. The restaurant earned its first Michelin star in 2011 and gained and retained its second since 2012. The restaurant was also awarded 17 out of 20 possible points by Gault Millau.
Guests are able to enjoy dishes including carabinero with cabbage, ginger and coriander; venison paired with spinach, kumquat, hazelnut and celeriac; and turbot with cauliflower, oyster and caviar. The dessert course sees a tropical-inspired pineapple, yoghurt, lemongrass and peanut creation. This exquisite menu is paired with 90-pointer and above wines specially selected by Robert Parker Wine Advocate to complement the cuisine.
The dinner menu is available from 6.30pm to 8pm, while lunch is exclusively available on Saturday, 25 February 2017 from 11.30am to 1pm.
Customers can purchase tickets to the International Chef Showcase at S$278++ and S$398++ for lunch and dinner respectively with accompanying wine pairings here. American Express cardholders enjoy priority booking from 22 January to 2 February 2017, while public sales start from 3 February 2017.
