The Italian Wine Club is collaborating with fine dining nouveau French eatery Audace Bar and Restaurant for a wine dinner on Tuesday 9 January 2018 from 7.30pm to 10pm that will feature a number of their Italian wines to pair with the food from Chef Jeremy Gillon.
Curiously while this wine dinner is supposedly a celebration of flavours from France’s Savoy and Italy’s Piedmont, there’s only one Piedmontese wine – a Barolo from Giacomo Fennochio – in the wine pairing lineup (the others are from the Italian wine-making regions of Veneto and Puglia). The wines are:
- Terre Gaie Prosecco DOC Brut NV
- Terre Gaie Claris Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie IGT 2015
- Fennochio Barolo 2012
- La Marchesana Rosato Puglia IGT Organic 2015
