The Manhattan Bar at Regent Hotel will be hosting a “crash course” on the aging and bottling process in the making of whiskey on Thursday 17 March 2016 from 5.30pm to 7pm as part of the Singapore Cocktail Week.
Explore the history of Hudson Whiskey by New York’s Tuthilltown Spirits, taste some cocktails, learn about barrel-aging, rickhouses, and find out how to spot the differences between aged and non-aged whiskies (hint: it’s in the colour). You’ll also get to do some bottle waxing and take home a small bottle of whiskey. Bar snacks will be served as well.
Tickets are $60 nett per person. Reservations required – you can make your reservations here.
