The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore will host its first-ever Singapore Rum Festival on 8 and 9 July 2023.
Rum lovers in Singapore will yet have another festival to wet their whistles. The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore, home to rum-focused hotel bar The Bar at 15 Stamford, will debut its inaugural Singapore Rum Festival that will bring together some of the leading rum brands together under one roof.
Taking place 8 and 9 of July, visitors can expect to sample rum expressions from over 20 different rum brands, from Bacardi and Mount Gay to Doorly’s, Hampden, Neisson, Black Tot, Renegade, TCRL, Black Tears, and La Progresiva. For its first edition, Singapore Rum Festival also shines a spotlight on regional Southeast Asian rums, so you can discover the flavours of Cambodia with Samai, or explore the Thai rum scene with Phraya and Chalong Bay, for example.
Alongside tasting experiences, the two-day event will feature curated masterclasses by industry experts and rum tastings with The Bar at 15 Stamford’s Bar Manager, Edriane Lim, on 8 July from 4pm to 7pm, and one premium rum tasting by The Rum Cartel on 9 July from 4pm to 7pm. There will also be servings of delicious cocktails and food at the festival.
Early-bird tickets start at S$48++ per person (until 4 June 2023), while standard tickets are priced at S$68++. Tickets will include complimentary tastings of all rums on display. You can buy your tickets here.
