Wine Lust Afternoon Affair in the Gardens at The Garage

Of the 1-Group’s Wine Lust series of wine events, the Wine Lust Afternoon Affair in the Gardens at The Garage on Sunday 27 August 2017 from 12noon to 6pm is its signature one that promises an entire afternoon of wine exploration and pleasure.

From 12noon to 3pm, The Garage will be hosting a Wine Brunch with a 4-course set brunch featuring contemporary-bistro, seasonality-driven food that showcases the gifts of soil, land and sea.

After the sumptuous brunch, oenophiles will relish the opportunity to meet 6 wine merchants – Alfa, Angra, Cellar Master, Crystal Wines, Culina and The Straits Wine Company – and taste 69 labels from some 48 featured winemakers from 3pm to 6pm. For just $35 nett, event goers get to try the wines alongside cheese and snacks and will receive a complimentary Riedel glass. Additional house pours by the glass are at $10nett; all wines are available at wholesale prices by the bottle for dine-in (no wine service charge) and take-away.

As part of the event, there will be a “Wine, Water & Food” masterclass at 3pm and 4pm by San Pellegrino and Culina where participants are given insights into the art of creating the best wine, water and food pairings in an interactive and educational session.
