Come 1st October Whisky Vault will be conducting a whisky tasting session featuring the Tullibardine distillery. Held at the B28, the session will feature the core range of the Tullibardine brand, namely the Tullibardine Sovereign, the 225, the 228, and the 500.

Fun fact: Tullibardine does use water from the Danny Burn, which is also the source for Highland Spring bottled water.

Tullibardine isn’t one of those names that will spring instantly to mind when one thinks of whisky. They’re not one of those labels that are really aggressive and in-your-face when it comes to marketing, although that could be different elsewhere. Part of the reason could be because they’ve gone through ownership changes in recent years, and are just about done getting the house in order.

Right now the current lineup of whiskies in their portfolio is rather interesting as its core range is made up mostly of no-age statement whiskies, and rounded off with the 20YO and 25YO expressions. Opinion on the no-age expressions has largely been positive though, with several web pundits expressing their approval of the current style.

Well, only one way to find out though, as we like to say. You can check out their event page here.
