Just a friendly reminder just in case you didn’t read our previous heads up: if you have no plans this weekend, you might want to consider heading down to Keppel Island Plaza, for Oktoberfest Asia – a celebration of authentic Bavarian eating, drinking and merry-making.
Held from 9–11 October 2014, this is the place to go for an authentic (or as close as it gets) Oktoberfest experience: exclusive German beers (look out for the Weihanstephan Festbier, which is brewed specially for Oktoberfest and isn’t available elsewhere), an authentic Bavarian menu curated by master guest chef Josef Nagler, chef de cuisine from the original Weissen Bräuhaus in Munichas, as well as authentic Bavarian entertainment in the form of the Hofbräuhaus Show.
And don’t worry, the marquee is well-air conditioned (plus there’s always beer to cool you down further), but do keep in mind to make prior arrangements for the journey home as Keppel Island Plaza is a fairly remote location.

Cost General admission – with one full meal and welcome beer – is at $95 (Thursday) and $108 (Friday/Saturday). Single day VIP ticket $180, with one full meal and free flow draught all night long. VIP table $1,288 for table of 8.
Line up Possibly the widest range of Bavarian beers on offer in Singapore, with Schneider Weisse, Paulaner Brauhaus, Benediktiner, Bitburger, Weihenstephan and Weltenburger Kloster on draft.
