If you love your wines, then chances are you’ll know about Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, the publication that is unequivocally regarded as the world’s foremost authority on the subject.

You’d be pleased to know then, that it has chosen Singapore to launch its inaugural Matter of Taste event on 22 November 2014 at the Singapore Art Museum.

This will be the first in a global series of fine wine tastings arranged exclusively for RobertParker.com (its current name after becoming an online-only publication) subscribers and their guests, who will have a rare opportunity to experience the most iconic wines of the world in a casual walk-around tasting atmosphere. The event will feature over 100 handpicked wines rated RP 90 points and above by the Wine Advocate.

“We’ve created Matter of Taste as a heartfelt thank you to our subscribers, the most knowledgeable wine lovers on the planet,” said RobertParker.com Editor-in-Chief, Lisa Perrotti-Brown. “It’s a way for them to experience world-class wines in an entirely new way while meeting the winemakers and estate owners who craft them. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to welcome new members into the world of Robert Parker. We are particularly excited to kick-off this worldwide series of events in Singapore – a city with a first-rate culinary scene, sophisticated collectors and a rapidly growing base of new wine fans.”

After the inaugural event in Singapore, the series will then move to Kuala Lumpur on 30 November 2014, with London, Hong Kong and select cities in the United States in 2015.

The event is free for RobertParker.com subscribers, and USD$99 for the public, which includes a year’s subscription to RobertParker.com (essentially you are buying a subscription, see below for full list of extras).

Seats for the accompanying Master Classes and wine pairing dinners will be very limited, so do make your move quickly.
