If you were one of the lucky guests who attended the opening night of the 25th Singapore International Film Festival (SIFF), you may have remembered tasting a special cocktail introduced by official spirits sponsor Rémy Martin, the brand behind that celebrated VSOP cognac, specially for the occasion.

Created by the lovely Kino Soh of Hopscotch Bar (pictured above), the festival cocktail – made with Rémy Martin VSOP cognac, pomegranate ginger syrup and lime juice – aptly christened ‘The Final Cut’ wowed attendees for its fruity and refreshing flavours.

Rémy Martin, the official spirits sponsor of the 25th Singapore International Film Festival, is no stranger to the arts. The brand has been the official spirit sponsor for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival for the last 11 years.

If that sounds like something you’d totally want to check out – ‘The Final Cut’ cocktail, Kino’s mad mixology skills, or both – you still have a chance to. The 11-day long event – Singapore’s largest and longest-running film extravaganza showcasing wide range of World and Asian cinema – like all good movies may be coming to an end tomorrow, but you can still get a taste of the festival’s cocktail this weekend at S$22 each at Hopscotch Bar at the Red Dot Traffic Building (28 Maxwell Road #01-04, Singapore 069120).
