Despite its pristine and orderly image, Singapore is actually home to one of the most vibrant and hottest – if expensive – nightlife scenes in the whole of Asia. In fact there’s an entire slew of happening bars, pubs and discos across much of the country, with new ones opening round the corner almost every week, so much so the challenge is keeping up – how does one decide where to go each weekend? To that end the founders of new membership club The Drinking Society, has an answer.
From subscription fees of just $80 a month – membership come in several different tiers – members get access to alcohol events hosted in some of Singapore’s watering holes every night of the week where they can drink free flow of signature cocktails and selected alcoholic drinks for exactly two hours, as well as get rights to specially curated drink deals at the establishment for the night. Founded by the folks behind Singapore’s largest F1 afterparty The Podium Lounge, The Drinking Society partners with some of the most cutting-edge and premium venues around town such as Tin Hill Social, Salt Grill & Sky bar, Me@OUE and The Cufflink Club (pictured above) for such events.
Think of it as one of the subscription box services that you sign up for monthly surprises sent your way, but in the case you get access to some of the hottest party and drinking spaces around town. Membership options are highly flexible too, with a choice between three, six and twelve month membership plans. The Drinking Society promises members at least 20 events every month.
