First introduced to Singapore in 2015, the Asahi Super Dry Black dark lager originally available in bottle now comes in 350ml cans.

According to Carlsberg Singapore, the exclusive distributor of Asahi in the country, Asahi Super Dry Black Lager has seen a doubling of on-premise distribution and consumption volume in just over a year since its introduction into this market.

The ebony sibling to the ever-popular Asahi Super Dry Lager, the Asahi Super Dry Black is a dark lager, a style of beer that combines the refreshing crispness of a lager with the roasty sweetness of a stout. It’s brewed like a regular lager – with lager yeast, but in the case with Asahi’s signature No. 318 yeast – but with roasted malt instead, which provides the darker colour and nutty, rounded sweetness on the palate.

The Asahi Super Dry Black Lager is now available in 350ml cans, and can be found in approximately 300 7-Eleven stores islandwide from S$4.80 each (subject to GST and prevailing in-store promotions).
