Pan-Asian restaurant and bar IZY FOOK is presenting One Night In Bangkok, a Thai-inspired food and drink takeover for the festive season.
For a totally different spin this festive season, modern pan-Asian izakaya IZY FOOK is presenting One Night in Bangkok, inspired by a vacation destination that many Singaporeans love but haven’t been able to travel to – for its Christmas and New Year celebrations this year.
For the festive takeover, it will be rolling out elevated Thai-inspired eats and drinks in a set menu to spice up the holidays. You’re looking at tasty appetisers such as Crab Omelette with a moreish onion chili dip and Wagyu Laarb – a tongue-numbingly spicy meat salad with snake beans – before moving on to sumptuous mains served with rice and raw vegetables, just like how it’s done in Bangkok. There are heartier items such as Moo Ping, tender, juicy slices of grilled pork ribeye cap, and Fried Barramundi, paired with nam prik kaew, papaya slaw, and green chilli. Finally, a sweet ending comes in the form of Fried Jackfruit and Ice Cream even as you jive to upbeat Thai pop and folk music in the background.
For drinks, tipplers can also look forward to on-theme alcoholic beverages (all at S$19++) such as the Krung Thep Mojito, where demerara sugar enhances flavours of kaffir lime and white rum before a top off of Singha soda, a Thai quintessential. Served with a desiccated coconut rim, the Coconut Margarita is fruiter but equally refreshing while the spirit-forward bourbon-based Thai Toddy with spiced black tea, lemongrass, and honey makes the perfect nightcap.
The One Night in Bangkok at IZY FOOK will be available for lunch and dinner on 24 and 25 December, 31 December 2020, and 1 January 2021. Each set menu is priced at SS196++ per couple and S$392++ for four, and is inclusive of a bottle of Prosecco, white wine, or red wine.
