Modern Cantonese restaurant 5 ON 25 in Andaz Singapore unveils its Weekend Dim Sum Club, a brunch menu on weekends featuring dim sum with a free-flow booze options.

With 5 ON 25’s new Weekend Dim Sum Club, you can have your dim sum and drink with it too. The recently-opened modern Cantonese restaurant 5 in Andaz Singapore has unveiled its inaugural weekend brunch experience, offering an à la carte menu of over 25 handcrafted dim sum items for you to dine on as you take in sweeping views of the Singapore waterfront and city skyline.

The menu is curated by Andaz Singapore’s Head Chinese Chef Lim Hong Lih and his team that includes Dim Sum Chef Peh Teik Seong. Their modern twists on classic Cantonese favourites include Chef Lim’s Signature Deep-Fried Duck Roll, a delectable crispy spring roll stuffed with diced duck, mushrooms, chives and Chinese turnip, as well as the Three Mushroom Vegetable Dumpling, which features a medley of mushrooms for its filling.

While the ever-popular Soup Dumplings “Xia Long Bao” remains in its most traditional form, the Lemon Bacon Roll on the other hand is a fun, quirky creation, consisting of rolled bacon in a lemon cream sauce. Then there’s the Scallop Siew Mai with Fish Roe, the classic pork and shrimp dumpling getting a deluxe treatment topped with scallop and fish roe.

For more substantial eats, the Fried Rice with Wagyu Beef and Truffle Sauce will hit the spot. This is traditional Cantonese style fried rice that’s tossed with small chunks of wagyu beef, and then garnished with a generous amount of shaved Italian truffle. Homely but absolutely delectable is their Congee with Seafood, which comes chockfull with chunks of fish and other seafood.

But no brunch experience is complete without booze. 5 ON 25’s Weekend Dim Sum Club comes has a free-flow option – Let’s Toast – for an addendum, where guests can have unlimited pours of Delamotte Brut NV Champagne, various bottled beers, as well as three low- and non-alcoholic organic sparkling teas from Denmark’s Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company.

5 ON 25’s Weekend Dim Sum Club à la carte and set menus are available on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 2.30pm. The Let’s Toast free-flow drinks option is an additional S$78++ per person. For restaurant reservations, please call +65 6408 1288 or visit 5on25.com.
