Top Italian Wines Roadshow by Gambero Rosso returns to Singapore this 2022, and will showcase wares from 52 Italian wineries.
Singapore is set to be the first country in Asia to host the return of Gambero Rosso’s Top Italian Wines Roadshow, after a two-year hiatus brought about by the global coronavirus pandemic. Gambero Rosso Top Italian Wines Roadshow 2022 in Singapore will take place on Wednesday 1 June 2022 at CHIJMES Hall, and will feature wines from 52 wineries from all across Italy.
The one-day wine event by Gambero Rosso – the “Michelin Guide” of Italian wine – will present a selection of wines that are representative of Italy’s fine winemaking tradition spanning different regions, styles, grape varietals, and techniques. Some of these wines have been rated with the Tre Bicchieri (‘three glasses’) mark, denoting the finest quality as awarded by Gambero Rosso.
Participating wineries include Veneto’s Prosecco specialists Villa Sandi and Amarone makers Tommasi and Masi, Chianti producer Ruffino, Marche’s Velenosi, Sicily’s Tenuta Gorghi Tondi, and Jermann from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, among many others.
Aside from the exhibition proper, Top Italian Wines Roadshow 2022 will also feature a total of three wine masterclasses hosted and led by Marco Sabellico, Gambero Rosso’s wine expert and Senior Editor-in-Chief of the authoritative Vini d’Italia Wine Guide, as well as junior editor Giuseppe Carrus. They will be guiding participants from Singapore’s wine trade on a journey in discovering the characteristics of signature wines from the participating Italian wineries and wine estates.
The Top Italian Wines Roadshow 2022 wine exhibition is open to members of the trade from 12.30pm, and for the public from 6pm. The event ends at 7.30pm.
