Inaugural wine fair Fruits Of The Vine on 8 January 2022 to showcase more than 100 brands and 400 labels from all around the world.

There’s going to be a new wine event in town. Called Fruits Of The Vine, the newly-announced consumer wine show will debut in Singapore with its inaugural edition to be held on 8 January 2023 at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore.

Not that there’s a dearth of wine events now that Singapore has opened up post pandemic restrictions. But Fruits Of The Vine, organised by Wine Portal – which distributes a number of wine labels in Singapore as well as operates F&B establishments such as Park90 and Basque Kitchen by Aitor – promises to be one of the more exciting events to join Singapore’s events calendar.

The first-ever Fruits Of The Vine will feature a grand walkabout tasting that will showcase more than 100 brands and 400 labels from all around the world to discover. Event goers can look forward to premium wines from outstanding winery brands like Fourrier, Bass Philip, Beaucastel, 00 Wines, Frescobaldi, Tua Rita, Trotanoy, Champagne Savart, Realms Cellar, and many more.

Aside from the grand walkabout tasting, the event will be hosting a number of themed wine masterclasses. Led by Masters of Wine, experienced winemakers and/or other wine specialists, these deep-dive one-hour masterclass sessions will explore topics such as “Iconic French Grapes Around The World” and “Three Terroirs, Three Vintages, One Producer”. Wine experts conducting masterclasses include California-based Master of Wine Lisa Perrotti-Brown; Edouard Mouiex, third-generation owner of Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix; Giovanni Frascella, director of Poggio Argentiera known for Super Tuscan wines, including Redigaffi, Per Sempre and Giusto di Notri; award-winning Singapore-based sommelier Mason Ng; among others.

Fruits Of The Vine - Masterclass Experience

“The wine community is thirsty for new experiences and new tastes, and we saw the opportunity to bring back in-person wine events once crowd restrictions were fully lifted in October. Fruits Of The Vine represents our continuing effort to grow our wine community and bring even more excitement to Singapore,” says Tracy Koo, Chief Executive Officer of Wine Portal.

Ticket prices for Fruits Of The Vine are S$280 (S$250 early bird) for the VIP Grand Walkabout and S$128 (S$98 early bird) for the regular Grand Walkabout. Masterclasses are priced separately.
