Beer festival Japan Brewers Cup takes place this year 10 to 12 February 2024 in Yokohama, Japan, and will feature beers from over 30 Japanese craft breweries alongside imported brews.
Annual Japanese beer festival Japan Brewers Cup, which combines a beer competition judged by professional brewers in the beer industry with a beer festival open to the public, will take place again this year at Yokohama Hammerhead. The public festival runs from 10 to 12 February 2024, following an official beer judging session prior to the festival.
During the festival, beer lovers can expect to taste more than 300 different beers from over 30 Japanese craft breweries, as well as those from an entire slew of imported beers. Participating local breweries include award-winning Ise Kadoya from Ise Prefecture, Far Yeast Brewing from Yamanashi, Echigo’s Swan Lake, Nagoya-based Y.Market Brewing, and Yokohama’s own Yokahama Beer and Yokohama Bay Brewing, while overseas ones include Taiwan’s Taihu Beer, South Korea’s Seoul Brewing, and Oregon’s Deschutes Brewery. The winners of the official judging competition will be announced during the festival, so festival goers can go try the winning brews.
Accompanying the many brews will be various food vendors dispensing beer-friendly eats such as grilled yakitori, plump and juicy gyozas, and various yummy charcuterie.

Tickets are priced at ¥1000 for advanced purchase, and ¥1200 at the door. Tickets grant entry into the festival proper; beers are paid for separately (prices vary from vendor to vendor, but most fall around the ¥600 mark.
