Xanadu wine dinner at The Cliff

Italian restaurant The Cliff at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa will be hosting a five-course wine dinner on Wednesday 6 March 2024 featuring wines of Margaret River, Western Australia’s Xanadu.

For The Cliff’s second wine dinner of the year – with the first featuring Italy’s Frescobaldi Toscana – Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa‘s signature Italian restaurant will be hosting an exclusive five-course wine dinner that will be  paired with premium wines from Xanadu Wines, located in Margaret River, Western Australia.

Dishes presented include an antipasto, a salad of Roma Tomato and Cucumber Salad with Seared Prawns, that comes paired with the 2020 Xanadu Circa 77 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, followed by Seared Albacore Tuna in Seafood Bisque that’s accompanied by the 2019 Xanadu Stevens Road Chardonnay.

For the main course, guests will enjoy the Grilled Australian Beef Striploin with Forest Mushrooms that will see its flavours enhanced by the full-bodied 2021 Xanadu Cabernet Sauvignon. As for dessert, the acidity of the 2020 Xanadu Cane Cut Viognier will beautifully offset the Chef Benedet’s Mango Compote and Coconut Gelato.

For the oenophiles among us who are keen to learn more about the background of Xanadu Wines, Gordon Gabbie, Commercial Director of Rathbone Wine Group will be at the dinner to share more about the craft of vinification at family-owned winery Xanadu.

This Xanadu wine dinner at The Cliff in Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa will take place Wednesday 6 March 2024 from 7pm to 10pm and is priced at S$158++ per person.
