Italian restaurant and lounge Zafferano will be hosting a wine dinner on Wednesday 20 July 2016 at 7.30pm featuring the wines from Masi of Veneto, Italy.
Savour the best harvest of the Masi heritage at Zafferano, paired perfectly with a 5-course dinner curated by head chef Marco Guccio, set against the panoramic backdrop of the Marina Bay waterfront. The wine dinner will be graced by Marco Zauli (pictured), Masi export manager of Asia Pacific, who will showcase and share about winery’s highly-rated Amarone from its Costasera Riserva magnum collection.
The Amarone is a unique Italian wine style made from ancient grape varieties and production method called ‘appassimento’, where handpicked grapes are dried for 3 to 4 months on bamboo racks. The technique lends the style considerable complexity.
