In collaboration with wine and spirits importer Le Vigne, PS.Cafe on Ann Siang Hill will be hosting a Tar & Roses wine dinner on Thursday 27 June 2019 featuring the wines from the Victoria, Australia-based winemaker.
Tar & Roses is a progressive winery that combines New World winemaking techniques with Old World grape varietals. Since 2004, winemakers Narelle King and the late Don Lewis have been making wine in Priorat, Spain, and that immersion in a classic European wine region with their indigenous grape varietals sparked their interest in how they could be grown and vinified within Central Victoria. With wines produced from fruit grown in Heathcote, Strathbogie Ranges, Alpine Valleys and extending to Priorat in Spain, Tar & Roses reflects the partnership between Don and Narelle, the multi-regions of Spain, Italy and Australia, and traditional winemaking alongside the new.
