The Culinary Delights of New Caledonia: A Four Hands Chef Event

Cook & Brew at The Westin Singapore will be hosting “The Culinary Delights of New Caledonia: A Four Hands Chef Event”, a celebration of New Caledonia’s culinary heritage, from 9 to 11 May 2024.

Experience the exquisite flavours of the South Pacific at “The Culinary Delights of New Caledonia: A Four Hands Chef Event” this May at Cook & Brew in The Westin Singapore. The restaurant is set to showcase the unique culinary heritage of New Caledonia with esteemed chefs from Le Meridien Nouméa joining forces with Westin Singapore’s culinary team to highlight the freshest local ingredients through an engaging cross-cultural gastronomic collaboration.

Part of the Voilah! Festival Singapore, this culinary showcase sees Chef Baptiste Copeaux of Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa in New Caledonia partner Chef Kelly Tay of Westin Singapore to present a four-course dinner using prized New Caledonia ingredients such as the renowned crystal blue prawns and Lifou’s famed vanilla beans. Dishes featured include Crystal Blue Prawn Carpaccio with Grilled Avocado & Vanilla Dressing, South Pacific Red Snapper with Green Papaya & Laksa Emulsion, and Pavlova with Lifou Vanilla & New Caledonia Passion Fruit.

Diners at “The Culinary Delights of New Caledonia: A Four Hands Chef Event” have an option of a wine pairing experience with wines from Australia’s award-winning Penfolds, such as Bin 311 Chardonnay and the Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz.
