We’re quickly coming up to the beer mania known as Beerfest Asia, and with the crazy hot weather that Singapore has been experiencing it can’t come any sooner. To be held from 12 to 15 June 2014 at the Marina Promenade, Beerfest Asia 2014 will again see Singapore’s beer enthusiasts and connoisseurs gather in one place to celebrate that beloved product made of malt, hops, yeast and water. In total, visitors to the upcoming Beerfest Asia 2014 can look forward to sampling more than 400 beers from 30 countries.

Currently in its 6th edition, Singapore’s premier beer festival – organized by Beerfest Asia Pte Ltd, which is co-owned by Sphere Exhibits Pte Ltd and Timbre Group – is a four day event that looks to be quite a holistic experience for the casual social drinker as well as the serious beer connoisseurs. Aside from beer appreciation talks and workshops helmed by industry speakers as well as auctions of beers and special merchandise, there will also be music concerts by local indie bands as well as tribute bands from Australia to entertain festival goers. Visitors will also stand a chance to win prizes when they participate in exciting games and festival activities.

Beerfest Asia has grown in size and stature over the years – last year’s event attracting a sell-out crowd of over 30,000 participants – and has mirrored the growth of Singapore’s beer market. If you’re in the trade, Beerfest Asia also presents the opportunity for companies in the retail, hospitality and food & beverage industries to try out new beer products and meet with trade suppliers and wholesalers. A special Trade Session will take place on 12 June, between 3pm to 5pm before the festival is opened to the public.

“We see more exhibitors launching new beers at Beerfest Asia over the years, using the festival as a gateway to introduce their products to both consumers and also to industry colleagues in Asia. The festival is not just about raking in sales for these exhibitors during the four festival days. A lot of leads are also spun off at the festival, leading to potential business growth,” said Mr Edward Chia, Festival Director of Beerfest Asia 2014 and Managing Director of Timbre Group. Industry participants who are keen on this private session can register via the Trade section on www.beerfestasia.com.
