Cointreau Singapore’s La Maison Cointreau series of collaboration parties – where the liquor brand partners with various top Singapore bars to present special monthly parties featuring one-night only cocktail creations – enters its third instalment this December at Jekyll & Hyde. But this time the party takes a slightly different twist: La Maison Contreau will be collaborating with the folks from nail bar Manicurious – which has an outlet that conveniently shares the same shophouse premises with bespoke cocktail bar Jekyll & Hyde along Tras Street – for a “Cocktails & Nails Night” to spoil women silly. So yes, your nails will be pampered even as you sip on Cointreau-infused cocktails.

Prior to Nutmeg & Clove, Bannie Kang worked as bartender at City Space Swissôtel The Stamford, while Kino Soh was a stalwart behind the bar at Bar Stories before she moved to Hopscotch Bar.

Even better, those cocktails will be dreamt up by two of the prettiest darlings of the Singapore bartending scene: Bannie Kang of Nutmeg & Clove and Kino Soh of Hopscotch Bar (pictured) – both of whom are alumni of the La Maison Cointreau Singapore 2013 competition – who will be guest bartending at Jekyll & Hyde. We’re keen to see what cocktails they’ll come up with that’s different from the previous La Maison Contreau instalment One Night In Paris” at Bitters & Love created by head bartender Naz Arjuna as well as guest bartenders Steve Leong of TESS Bar & Kitchen and Mohammad Ashur of Lucha Loco. So if you’re looking to prettify your nails and have an amazing cocktail at the same time, “Cocktails & Nails Night” will be held at Jekyll & Hyde and Manicurious at 49 Tras Street on Wednesday, 10 December 2014 from 7pm to 10pm.
