SKIRT at W Singapore tops the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards 2019 for fine dining restaurants in Singapore.
World’s leading travel platform TripAdvisor earlier this week unveiled the winners of its annual Travellers’ Choice Awards in Singapore and Asia for 2019, with steakhouse SKIRT at W Singapore emerging as Singapore’s leading fine dining restaurant. This year, the awards recognise 394 fine dining restaurants globally, including 10 in Singapore and Asia respectively. Based on a full year of TripAdvisor reviews, the top 10 fine dining restaurants in Singapore were consistently provided high ratings and praise by diners from around the globe.
SKIRT also debuted at the No.4 spot of TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards 2019 top 10 fine dining restaurants across Asia, the only Singapore restaurant to do so. It leads a pack of largely hotel-based restaurants in Singapore’s top 10 – Goodwood Park’s Alma by Juan Amador came in at No.2, while JAAN at Swissotel the Stamford is No.3. Grand Park Orchard’s modern Cantonese restaurant Mitzo listed at No.5, Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant Summer Pavilion at The Ritz Carlton Singapore is No.6, while Hotel InterContinental’s buffet restaurant Ash & Elm took the No.7 spot.
Another Michelin-starred restaurant, The Song of India, landed at No.8. Surprisingly, contemporary French restaurant Odette by Julian Royer – which was recently minted with three Michelin stars and also took the No.18 spot in this year’s World’s 50 Best Restaurants – only came in at No.9 on the list.
