Singapore’s leading local beer brand Tiger Beer has released its limited-edition Tiger Orchid Brew in cans to celebrate Singapore’s National Day.
Singapore’s very own Tiger Beer, the leading premium beer brand in Asia, has announced that it will be bringing its special limited-edition brew, the Tiger Orchid Brew, back in cans. This beer was first released as a seasonal beer to commemorate the launch of the Tiger Street Lab at Jewel Changi Airport when the mall first opened in April last year. But the beer proved so popular that Tiger Beer decided to bring it back to celebrate Singapore’s National Day this coming August. This will be the first time it’s made available island-wide.
The Tiger Orchid Brew takes inspiration from Singapore’s national flower, the orchid variety known as Vanda Miss Joaquim. The beer itself is infused with orchids, which imparts subtle floral notes with a touch of citrus to balance the sweet maltiness and light bitterness in the brew.
Tiger Beer also collaborated with homegrown artist and illustrator, Tiffany Lovage, to design the bold packaging for the cans and the four-pack carrier of the special release. “When working on the design, I wanted to intertwine the orchid infusion of the beer with Singapore’s national flower and the lushness of our city,” shares Lovage on the inspiration for her design.
“Tiger Orchid Brew is our most locally inspired offering to date, bringing together local flavour, local brew and local art. We hope that it will remind us of our undaunting, can-do spirit as we celebrate National Day,” says Faye Wee, Marketing Director of Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore.
The uniquely local limited-edition Tiger Orchid Brew is now available in 4-can pack at a recommended retail price of S$11.70 at major supermarkets, convenience stores and online channels island-wide until 31 August, while stocks last.
