Cold Storage International Wine Fair 2020 celebrates the season with over 150 wines from around the world available at Cold Storage outlets as well as online.

The lead-up to the festive season isn’t quite complete without a good wine fair, but this year Cold Storage won’t be throwing its International Wine Fair like in previous years. Instead the 12th edition of the supermarket chain’s massively popular wine sale will take place at all its Cold Storage stores, premium Market Place outlets, as well as online.

Oenophiles can expect a slew of over 150 wines from major wine producing countries around the world, ranging from familiar classics to brands that are totally new to Singapore and many of which are sourced direct from the wineries and exclusive to Cold Storage. For example, you’ll find wines from iconic Australian brand Penfolds such as its Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz 2018. The combination of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz is the classic Australian red wine blend, and this highly-acclaimed wine can easily sit on any festive dining table.

Then there’s the Felix Solis Run Rafa Run, a rosado from the Valdepenas, Spain-based winery. Rosé wine lovers will fall in love with this robust take, explosive with notes of raspberries and roses. On the other hand, the Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc 2019 is a great value wine that’s typical of a Marlborough, New Zealand-style Sauvignon Blanc. This refreshing wine is perfect for day drinking, as well as for pairing with salads and seafood dishes.

And you’re a taste hunter, over 20 of those wines are totally new to Singapore. An example is the Siduri Pinot Noir Yamhill Carlton 2016. California-based Siduri crafts single vineyard Pinot Noir, each of which are sourced from different sites across California and Oregon. This Yamhill Carlton, for example, is an excellent expression of Willamette Valley’s Yamhill-Carlton AVA.

The Cold Storage International Wine Fair 2020 will take place at all Cold Storage and Market Place stores, and online at www.coldstorage.com.sg from now till 25 November 2020.
