ALL – Accor Live Limitless introduces 100 Bites of Singapore, a culinary initiative in collaboration with Singapore Tourism Board that promotes Singapore’s vibrant local food culture.
Singapore is a foodie’s paradise, we all know it. From best-of-class fine dining to down-and-get-your-fingers-dirty street food fare, Singapore offers something for any kind of food lover.
Not that gastronomes need yet another reason to visit and eat in the Lion City, but Singapore’s tourism authority – the Singapore Tourism Board – has tapped leading hospitality group Accor for an initiative to make some of its properties here an even more attractive proposition for travellers to stay and dine. Enter 100 Bites of Singapore, which sees four of its hotel restaurants under its loyalty programme ALL – Accor Live Limitless offer an interesting immersive dining experience each of which are inspired by the culinary traditions and food stories found in their respective neighbourhoods.
What makes 100 Bites of Singapore special? Diners visiting those eateries have the option of being accompanied by a holographic virtual host, Allie, upon using a QR code. Created by generative AI art and powered by motion capture technology, Allie will bring diners on a visual tour to learn about each restaurant’s neighbourhood and the colourful culinary culture that inspired their menu.
The four participating Accor restaurants in 100 Bites of Singapore are: Winestone at Mercure Singapore on Stevens, Racines at Sofitel Singapore City Centre, Fairmont Singapore’s Asian Market Café, and TASTE at ibis Singapore on Bencoolen. Allie will share, for example, about Singapore’s prime shopping district of Orchard Road if you’re perusing Winestone’s locally-inspired afternoon tea treats such as carrot cake or ondeh ondeh, while she will wax lyrical about Singapore’s ethnically diverse vicinity of Bras Basah even as you dine on nasi lemak and Singapore laksa from the buffet at Asian Market Café.
