Visits to Morton’s The Steakhouse tend to be for a more celebratory nature – think anniversary or birthday celebrations, or an important date night. But the iconic and enduring American steakhouse at Mandarin Oriental Singapore has just unveiled a deal that gives us a perfectly good excuse to drop in for lunch during the weekends.
The new Morton’s ‘Steak & Seafood’ weekend lunch promotion puts together some of its most popular favourites into a deal that’s pretty irresistible. This prix fixe menu at S$168++ per person lets you build your own gastronomic adventure, where you can curate your own starter, steak entree, seafood, side dish, and a dessert. It even comes with a choice of drink; we’d recommend a cocktail or a glass of wine, of course!
Just note – some options come with supplements. Depending on the choices you make, the bill can add up quickly.
Seafood fans can kick off the meal with the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail or Lobster Bisque. If you’re feeling virtuous, vegetable-forward classics like the Morton’s Iceberg Wedge or Caesar Salad ensures a more balanced repast.
Who are we kidding though? You’re at Morton’s. Be ready to indulge in red meat, especially when its beefy entrees are worth every calorie.
The standard entree is a 6oz. Center Cut Filet Mignon. While it is incredibly tender, it can be a little monotonous in texture. Instead we’ll steer you towards the 16oz. Center-Cut Prime Ribeye, because this is worth the extra supplement. Perfectly seasoned and well marbled, Morton’s aged ribeye is prepared in as classic steakhouse style as possible. No frills, just flavour. Add more luxury to your meal with the Lobster Tail and Lobster Macaroni & Cheese. Or opt for some Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops or Crab Cakes if lobster isn’t your thing.
Our top picks to finish off your meal? The Morton’s Creme Brulee or Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake. Also, selected cocktails come at happy hour prices during Morton’s weekend lunch, so chances are tipplers are going to leave very happy.
