Leading Irish stout brand Guinness will be holding a festival on 16 March 2019 from 1pm to 10pm to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Taking place at 30 Maxwell Road, the party will celebrate all things Irish but especially the drinking of Guinness.
We know, St. Patrick’s Day – also known as Lá Fhéile Pádraig or the easier-to-pronounce ‘The Day of the Festival of St. Patrick” – normally falls on 17 March, but why procrastinate in your drinking?
The festival coincides with “All Hail Patricks”, a campaign by Guinness to celebrate everyone whose name is Patrick, Patricia, Patrice, or Pat. Expect activities including masterclasses, live music, and other various other shenanigans, but mostly drinking a lot of Guinness.
