Fancy a whisky’s that a little different? Then pop down to B28 on 13 August for a tasting of a blended malt whisky quite unlike any other.
The Lost Distillery Company reinterprets legendary malt whiskies from long silent distilleries: Auchnagie, Stratheden, Gerston. These guys dove into the history books and tried to best guess how those whiskies would have tasted back then. The reality is nobody would know how close they got (reputed reviewer Serge Valentin concedes they’re quite good though), but still, it sounds like a great premise for an evening’s fun.
