Bistro 1855, sister company of 1855 The Bottle Shop, is now offering whisky flights alongside its regular menu.
Available every day, Bistro 1855 offers three sets of whiskies catered for different tastes: The Sweet Young Thing (S$38), Holy F**king Smoke (S$58), and the The Big Boys (S$98).
The line-up changes every quarter, but right now here’s the current line up:
The Sweet Young Thing is designed for novice whiskey drinkers who just started appreciating whiskies and consists of an easy-drinking trio of the Hibiki Harmony, Nikka Black and Glenfiddich 12.
For those with who love their smoky, peated whiskies, Bistro 1855 put together The Holy F**king Smoke. It features the Bowmore 12, Laphroaig 10 and the Lagavulin 16. No prizes for guessing why the flight is named as such.
As the name suggests, The Big Boys is a trio of older whiskies for those who prefer their whiskies full-bodied and mellow, and consists of the Yamazaki 18, Hakushu 18 and Laphroaig 18.
And if you try something that you like, you can always pick a bottle up from The Bottle Shop is just right next door (or on-premises, to be exact).
