Zouk Group’s new line of tropical-themed ready-to-drink canned cocktails lets you bring the party home.
Massive rave parties may not be coming back for some time yet no thanks to COVID-19 restrictions, but that’s not stopping pioneering dance club and lifestyle destination company Zouk from spreading a little fun around. Last year the club converted its premium party space Capital Lounge into a pop-up restaurant; this time it’s launched a line of ready-to-go canned cocktails to help bring some sparkle to your home party.
Curated by Zouk’s bar team, the new canned cocktail collection from Zouk currently features three different flavours, each of which are made with – according to them – “real spirits and high-quality, all natural ingredients”. This includes the use of pure fruit juices, instead of juice concentrate, for example.
The Guava Fizz is a different take on Zouk’s iconic and ever-popular Long Island Tea. It’s a lighter version of that usual punchy drink – think a hybrid of a Gin Fizz and the Long Island Tea, with rich tropical flavours of guava.
Then there’s the Yuzu Blossom, inspired by the Gimlet. This twist on the classic gin-based cocktail uses yuzu juice in addition to the usual lime juice for a more tropical and even more refreshing tipple. The addition of a touch of orange blossom water adds floral complexity.
On the other hand, Bourbon Pineapple is a version of the Whiskey Smash, that puts American bourbon and pineapple juice together to make a deliciously sweet and sour drop. The use of firewater bitters gives this drink a lightly spicy kick as well.
Each of the Zouk canned cocktails clock in at an easy-drinking 7% ABV.
