Mandala Club’s next Mandala Masters edition will see award-winning New Delhi restaurant Indian Accent take up culinary residence this May.

This May, exclusive private members club Mandala Club will be presenting Indian Accent for its upcoming Mandala Masters culinary residency. Sponsored by Singapore-based single family office Amaya Ventures, the award-winning restaurant from New Delhi will be offering its contemporary take on Indian cuisine at Mandala Club in a two-week residency running from 9 to 25 May 2023.

Considered to be among the best restaurants in India – it has featured on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants for nine years running, and was No.19 on that vaunted list this year – cutting-edge Indian Accent pushes the culinary envelope on India’s well-loved cuisines, leaning on contemporary culinary techniques and global gastronomic influences to reimagine traditional Indian dishes and flavours. Located within grand luxury New Delhi hotel The Lodhi, the restaurant has also been praised for its contribution to Indian culture and is even listed in TIME Magazine’s ‘World’s 100 Greatest Places’.

The Indian Accent residency at Mandala Club follows earlier kitchen takeovers by globally acclaimed and World’s 50 Best restaurants such as Tokyo’s Narisawa, Mirazur by Chef Mauro Colagreco, Gaggan Anand, as well as Peru’s MASL by Virgilio Martínez and Pía León.

Guests can expect innovative dishes such as Kanyakumari crab with sago pongal and a delicate serving of caviar, or a decadent dessert featuring a doda burfi treacle tart glazed with caramelised milk ice-cream. Other main course choices include a succulent Wagyu pathar kebab with bone marrow nihari adorned with lily buds.

An extensive wine list, designed to complement the distinct flavours presented by Indian Accent, will also be on hand for discerning oenophiles.
