Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival makes a grand return this year, and its 2023 edition will see the highly-anticipated food- and wine-focused festival pop up at Central Harbourfront for four days from 26 to 29 October.
First organised in 2003 as the Hong Kong Food Festival, the prominent gastronomic event has grown massively over the years to become one of Asia’s largest food and wine festivals – it was even named by ForbesTraveler.com as one of the top 10 international food and wine festivals around the world – offering both locals and tourists alike the opportunity to immerse themselves in Hong Kong’s rich and eclectic culinary culture and love for wine.
This year, gastrophiles can once again indulge in local and international cuisines ranging from traditional dishes to innovative creations that reflect Hong Kong’s unique foodie culture at this tightly-curated festival. Wine lovers will be delighted to know there’s a one-stop premium wine experience this year that is expected to showcase wines from 36 countries. Aside from dependable classic Old World favourites from France and Italy, wine enthusiasts can also explore wines from more unusual provenance and terroirs, such as expressions from Moldova, Finland, and even tropical New Latitude wines. Visitors can also discover wines from China that’s recently been making waves around the world.
The festival will also kick off an entire month of culinary events in November. Hong Kong Wine & Dine ‘Taste Around Town’ will see hundreds of bars and restaurants across the island feature promotions and special offers aimed at delighting your taste buds.
