Internationally renowned Chef Andre Chiang will be returning to Singapore for a short culinary residency at La Dame de Pic this March.
Epicureans, take note. Andre Chiang, chef-owner of award-winning Restaurant Andre that closed back in 2017, makes his highly-anticipated return back to Singapore with a limited-time culinary residency at La Dame de Pic, Raffles Singapore this March.
For those not familiar with Andre Chiang, the Taiwanese native became the youngest French chef in Taiwan when he was just 20 years old. At 25 he was appointed executive chef of three Michelin-starred Le Jardin des Sens in Montpellier, France. He opened Restaurant Andre in Singapore in 2010, which quickly propelled to the top of Singapore’s dining scene in less that a year with Chef Andre’s unique “Octaphilosophy” culinary concept. Aside from landing two Michelin stars in the inaugural edition of Michelin Guide Singapore in 2016, Restaurant Andre was also listed in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants for four consecutive years until it closed when Chef Andre moved to Taiwan to focus on his Taipei restaurant, RAW.
Long time devotees of Restaurant Andre will be glad to know that he will be bringing back a taste of Restaurant Andre – as well as a sampling from RAW – to Raffles Singapore with an exclusive tasting menu at the Anne-Sophie Pic’s Singapore outpost from 13 to 24 March 2024.
The carefully-crafted menu is priced at S$650++ per guest, inclusive of an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage pairing to complement this once-in-a-lifetime dining experience.
During this residency, La Dame de Pic at Raffles Singapore will be temporarily transformed into Chef Andre’s vision of a culinary haven. For this period, La Dame de Pic, Raffles Singapore’s Chef de Cuisine Alexandre Alves Pereira and Pastry Chef Clement Cano will be travelling to Valence in France to work on a new spring menu with Anne-Sophie Pic.
