Manhattan makes its awesome Sunday cocktail brunch even better

Award-winning cocktail bar Manhattan has upped the ante on its decadent Sunday cocktail brunch with new live cocktail and culinary stations.

Regent Singapore cocktail bar Manhattan is known for many things – landing the coveted No. 1 position in Asia’s 50 Best Bars list for consecutive years in 2017 and 2018, among others – but one of its not-so-closely-held secrets is being home to one of the most luxurious and booze-laden weekend brunches in town.

The Manhattan Adults-Only Sunday Cocktail Brunch – combining gastronomic delicacies and bespoke cocktails from the bar in a single all-you-can-consume session – is the kind of indulgence that probably helped propel it to those lofty achievements. Aside from the buffet spread, we’re talking about a full-on live station offering a build-it-yourself Bloody Mary, as well as another for you to create your own whiskey- or rum-laced milkshake. And that’s in addition to an entire cocktail menu – much of which is part of its usual cocktail offerings (so there’s no skimping) – that you can order from at leisure.

And if that’s not already awesome in many forms, to celebrate its fifth anniversary Manhattan has enhanced its Sunday cocktail brunch to become even more awesome. It’s not only revamped the cocktail menu to include some Southeast Asian-inspired tipples – a departure from its usual New York inspirations – but also added a live gin and tonic station. Like the Bloody Marys or booze-laden milkshakes, here you can also add a range of garnishes and other ingredients to your gin and tonic. Don’t like your own G&T concoction? Why, just make yourself another.

But if you’re too lazy to even do that, there are the five new cocktails you can order from the bar. The Th-aiquiri is, as its name implies, a Thai botanical take on the Daiquiri with a combination of rum, bird’s eye chilli tincture, kaffir limes and a lemongrass cucumber syrup. Similarly Thai is the Mango-Rice, a rather sweet Pisco-based sour inspired by khao neeo mamuang. We’re big fans of the Kopi-cano (above) – think of a full-flavoured yet low ABV tipple that combines the flavours of an Americano with local kopi.

We’d tell you all about all the lovely food too, but really, you’re probably just going to be focused on the booze. Indeed, the Manhattan Adults-Only Sunday Cocktail Brunch is worth it just for the free-flow cocktails alone; it’s Asia’s No.1 cocktail bar after all.

The Manhattan Adults-Only Sunday Cocktail Brunch costs $158++ per person with free-flow cocktails, wines and beers, or $195++ per person with free-flow cocktails, wines, beers and Billecart-Salmon Brut Reserve champagne.
