Brewery restaurant Heart of Darkness Singapore to celebrate its three years in the Lion City with a beer-filled weekend.
Time flies when you’re having a beery good time. Heart of Darkness Singapore – the Singapore restaurant offshoot of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam-based craft brewery Heart of Darkness Brewery – has already been in Singapore for three years (even if two of those years were spent in a depressing pandemic) since officially opening its doors and pouring its taps back in 2019.
But many thing have changed over the years. It moved from its original location on Tras Street to its current location on Keong Saik Road, for one. The brewery has launched many a new beer too, including a Campari-infused brew to celebrate Negroni Week last year and another barrel-aged in Teeling whiskey barrels to commemorate St Patrick’s Day earlier this year.
Its food menu has evolved too. The brewery restaurant has offered a slew of grub ranging from American and Tex-Mex bar favourites – such as buffalo wings and nachos – to Vietnamese-inspired bites such as spring rolls and chicken dumplings.
To mark this three-year milestone, they have again revamped its food menu. New items include Okonomiyaki Fries, Chargrilled Beef Short Ribs, Chargrilled Fresh Calamari, and a Wings Selection that offers Korean-style fried chicken wings with a slew of flavours such as spicy buffalo, banana mango jalapeno, and caramelised fish sauce.
But it’s also brought some best-selling items of old! Think their range of Tacos – fish, pork, lamb, and vegetarian – as well as evergreen salads such as Caesar and Waldorf. And not to forget their lipsmacking Americano Classico Burger first introduced in their Saigon flagship!
Sure the food at Heart of Darkness Singapore has always been somewhat of a mixed bag, but that only means there’s always something for everybody. Plus it’s food you want with your beers!
To celebrate its third anniversary, Heart of Darkness Singapore will be hosting two events this weekend. On Saturday 24 September 2022 the brewery restaurant will be offering free-flow Heart of Darkness beers at $88++ per person (for a three hour seating), while on Sunday 25 September 2022 they are offering free-flow food – including new menu items! – for $58++ per person (for a three hour seating, with $30++ top up option for a four-beer pairing flight).
