Hilton Singapore Orchard lobby bar and lounge Ginger.Lily establishes itself as one of the newest hangouts in town with its new craft cocktail menu ‘Bloom’.

Ginger.Lily at Hilton Singapore Orchard operates as a breakfast venue in the mornings and a hotel cafe during the day. But come evening the botanical-inspired hotel lobby lounge transitions into a totally different hangout altogether –  a whimsical watering hole.

And now there’s even more reason to drink there. Ginger.Lily recently unveiled ‘Bloom’, a conceptual cocktail menu comprising of 17 different cocktails that explores the rich plantation history of Orchard Road as curated by head mixologist Michael Mendoza.

As expected these libations are as playful and pretty as Ginger.Lily’s garden resort-like space.

There’s In Full Bloom, a wine-based spritzer that comes infused with a melange of citrus, berries and herbs. Then there’s Seashell, a briny and umami twist on a gin and tonic for something similarly refreshing yet slightly more complex.

On the other end of the spectrum is Kokum Spice, a heady and spirit-forward Martini take that employs arrack and kokum. Similarly punchy is Smoked, a Japanese-inspired version of the Gin Martini made with gin and shiso-infused umeshu.

Prefer something sweeter? There’s Birds & The Bees (pictured below). This whisky and ginger ale draws fruity sweetness from pineapple, jackfruit and passionfruit, and is even served with honeycomb on the side.

But don’t forget Blossom, inspired by its namesake ginger lily. Concocted with St. Germain elderflower liqueur, Brass Lion butterfly pea gin, honey, and lemongrass, this is a floral bomb of a cocktail.

If you prefer something along the lines of a more classic cocktail, ask for the off-menu Old Fashioned. Theirs is made with a pre-batched blend of whiskies, served icy cold that brings out the drink’s strength and intensity.

There’s a selection of bar bite to go with your drinks as well – we recommend the Wagyu Beef Sando, in particular.

“Bloom continues from the botanical trail guests experience with Ginger.Lily’s afternoon tea into the evening. Through colourful libations that excite and engage the senses, guests will discover the natural beauty of Orchard Road’s past orchards, and the diverse ingredients unique to Asia,” shares Mendoza.

Ginger.Lily’s cocktail menu ‘Bloom’ is available daily from 12 noon to 1am.
