Four Seasons Hotel Singapore’s One-Ninety Restaurant and One-Ninety Bar will be hosting Buenos Aires, Argentina-based Brasero Atlántico and Florería Atlántico for a three-month kitchen and bar takeover.
South American flavours recently took the world stage by storm. This year’s World’s 50 Best Restaurants named a whopping ten entries from South America on the list, while South American bars also made massive inroads at last year’s World’s 50 Best Bars.
But if travelling to Brazil, Argentina or Peru is out of the question for you right now, here’s some good news – Argentina is coming to you. Four Seasons Hotel Singapore will be bringing a taste of Argentina to Singapore by hosting Buenos Aires-based Brasero Atlántico and Florería Atlántico for a three-month kitchen and bar takeover.
From 1 August 2023, culinary and hospitality maestro Alex Resnik of Argentinian brasserie Brasero Atlántico will shine a spotlight on Argentina’s diverse culinary culture at One-Ninety Restaurant. Available as both an à la carte dinner menu as well as a six-course Chef’s Table dinner tasting experience, you’ll get to set your teeth into dishes from classic Argentinian asado barbecue to street food favourite empanadas. Complementing the food will be a curation of South American wines by the flight, but also cocktails.
Speaking of cocktails. Accompanying Resnik is award-winning bartender Renato “Tato” Giovannoni of Florería Atlántico. Globetrotting cocktail hounds will know Florería Atlántico as one of the most exciting bars in South America. In fact, Florería was even named to the No.18 spot in last year’s World’s 50 Best Bars.
For the bar takeover component, Giovannoni has designed a cocktail list that explores the immigrant influence on Argentina while leveraging the bounty of its land. You’ll find Florería Atlántico’s classics such as the Negroni Balestrini, the classic Italian aperitif spiked with eucalyptus, pine and seawater, or El Dorado, a fruity rum-based concoction made with cachaça, yerba mate, sugar cane, and a melange of tropical fruits.
So if you’re not able to visit Argentina anytime soon, drop into One-Ninety Restaurant and One-Ninety Bar. This double takeover by Brasero Atlántico and Florería Atlántico will take your tastebuds there.
The Brasero Atlántico and Florería Atlántico takeover at One-Ninety Restaurant and One-Ninety Bar will run from 1 August to 31 October 2023. One-Ninety Restaurant x Brasero Atlántico runs from 6pm to 10.30pm (last order at 10:00 pm), while One-Ninety Bar x Florería Atlántico run from 5.30pm to 12am (last food order at 10.30 pm, last beverage order at 11.30 pm).
