1-Group’s annual wine extravangza Wine Lust is back! Wine Lust 2021 will feature more than 300 wines over 30 wine-soaked days across nine dining establishments.
If you’ve been starved of wine events over the past year or so, there’s some good news. Wine Lust is back! 1-Group’s annual food and wine festival will take place this year from 19 August 2021 to 18 September 2021, and promises many wine-soaked dining adventures for the oenophile.
While last year’s edition was muted no thanks to the ravages of COVID-19, Wine Lust 2021 looks to be a far more cheerful affair with the current easing of dine-in restrictions and social management measures. For its fifth edition you’re looking at a splendid spread of 24 eclectic events over 30 days ranging from wine pairing dinners to wine masterclasses at various 1-Group venues such as the newly-opened 1-Atico, 1-Altitude, Alkaff Mansion, and Monti.
Some of the highlights this year include events such as a weekend prosecco brunch at award-winning waterside Italian restaurant Monti, a wine dinner at progressive Australian restaurant Stellar at 1-Altitude featuring Margaret River’s Amelia Park, and a wine retail pop-up at 1-Atico.
Some 1-Group venues will also be offering month-long promotions. Modern Chinese restaurant Mimi at The Riverhouse will be hosting weekend brunches with various wines at special prices, while TXA Gastrobar at Alkaff Mansion has a ‘Txakoli & Tapas’ deal available every Friday throughout the duration of Wine Lust.
