14 June is World Cucumber Day, but we don’t quite expect anyone to know that fact. Indeed we wouldn’t quite know such a day existed if Hendrick’s Gin hadn’t adopted that date as its own back in 2016 and proceeded to remind us of the fact every year since. In previous years Hendrick’s Gin celebrated World Cucumber Day in style with special cocktails across different bars in town; in these pandemic days the celebrations are rightfully a lot more muted. Instead this year Hendrick’s Gin is inviting all cocktail lovers to commemorate the fruit in all its glory, but particularly as an important garnish as you make your own cocktails at home.
